John Savoie
Mr. Savoie presents a diverse background of strategic marketing, corporate communications and an entrepreneurial approach to both business-to-business and the retail marketing environment.
With over a decade of experience with Canada’s leading technological companies and Fortune 50 companies across North America and Europe, John successfully brings a measurable ROI in regards to marketing.
Mr. Savoie operates several successful businesses including a film and video venture. John has a degree in Print Journalism and Certification from the New York Film Academy.
Woody Rae Forrieter
Woody has a background in media, sales and marketing. In radio and television he developed skills to extract the essence of a narrative and communicate it quickly and clearly. In sales he developed the ability to view concepts from the customer’s perspective. And in marketing he successfully combined those proficiencies to create messages that remain firmly fixed in the minds of customers and prospects.
Over the past two decades Woody has provided marketing consultation to numerous U.S. and Canadian corporations, including Aker Kvaerner, Alliance Pipeline, Baker Hughes, CCS, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Enerflex, Flint Energy, Fort Chicago, FOX-TEK, Grant Prideco, Halliburton, Hunting, KBR, KERN Partners, Red Deer College, Schlumberger, Security DBS, Smith International, Solvay, Tesco, Upside Engineering, Weatherford, Westeel, Willbros, Wood Group, and many others.
Woody is a graduate of the Communications program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and earned his Certified Business Communicator credentials from the Business Marketing Association. He is a past president of the Business Marketing Association Houston chapter.
Sally Truss
Sally has honed her marketing skills over the past twenty years as an analyst, strategist, tactician and communicator in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. Recent projects with organizations such as Upside Engineering, Wiebe Environmental Services, Pulse Data, Red Deer College and Blue Quills First Nations College have centered on development of strategic initiatives for organizational growth and internal team development.
Her expertise in marketing, development and management has helped position organizations such as the Calgary Opera, Banff’s Whyte Museum and the Calgary International Children’s Festival as cultural icons in Alberta. Sally’s proven ability as a communications was crucial to her success at CBC Radio and Television, Kananaskis Country, The Banff Centre, and ACCESS TV. Sally is a trained film maker, conflict-resolution mediator and MBA candidate, whose research centres on governance, innovation and economic impact.
Peter Corbière
Mr. Corbière draws on over 20 years of business and entrepreneurial experience in developing and overseeing the financial strategies for companies and raising funds for ventures.
Mr. Corbière is an accomplished entrepreneur who has successfully launched three businesses and operated them profitably. He has been a leader in new product development, strategic planning, sales management, training, financing and restructuring.
Mr. Corbière is an advisor to the Presidents of Acorn Partners Merchant Bank, GAPC Film & Audio Production Company and Mantle & Overall Communications Agency.
Gardner McBride
Gardner McBride has served as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of US based and international based enterprises. As an entrepreneur and a consultant he has been responsible for acquiring funding, negotiating acquisitions, divestitures and operations management.
Mr. McBride was instrumental in facilitating over 60 mergers and acquisitions in the contact centre industry. He was responsible for raising capital and developing new technologies for a telemessaging and telemarketing company. He lead negotiations that brought in over USD$10 ML of the USD$30 ML total raised. Sales increased from USD$1 ML to USD$23 ML during his tenure.
Mr. McBride, as part of Senior Management at Interline Communications (a USWest company), was responsible for the smart buildings initiative. He also served as a mentor to the President for a newly launched subsidiary of Illinois Bell (successfully launching a spin-off riser cable management company in six months) and a two-year assignment to prepare a Johnson Controls subsidiary for sale. This assignment included finding a purchaser and the successful negotiation of the divestiture of the subsidiary. Mr. McBride continued with the divested company for a year to assure continuity of policy and management. Other consulting assignments have been conducted for IBM and Honeywell while with the BBH&S consulting firm.
Mr. McBride has extensive experience in sales, marketing, management and finance in both for-profit and non-profit enterprises. He served as the Executive Vice President (Chief Staff Officer) of The Building Owners and Managers Association International for a decade and prior to that as the Interim Executive Vice President of the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, and brings over thirty years of business experience to his practice.
Joseph Sheppard
Mr. Sheppard is an accomplished designer with a unique balance of creative and technical expertise, coupled with a strong background in print and web design. For over 15 years, he has helped employers and clients develop corporate and brand identities, as well as market positioning.
A graduate of The American Academy of Art in Chicago, his vast experiences range from designing brochures, advertisements, product packaging, catalogs, logos, billboards and web pages, to more complex projects, such as programming and relational database development for the web. He understand the importance of knowing the long-term vision of a company and how to accurately and consistently reflect and strengthen that message in all visual and written communications.
Christine Perez
Mrs. Perez is an accomplished graphic designer with a background in multimedia production. A graduate of Silicon Valley College's Desktop Publishing Program and Multimedia Development from Ohlone College, she brings over 10 years experience working with corporate clients such as Bell South, Bank of America, Hewlett-Packard, Exxon-Mobile and Dow Chemical.
